@Builtbybiowa

As part of my content marketing class at the University of Iowa, I collaborated with a team of students to create a social media presence as part of a campaign funded by the National Science Foundation. Our goal was to promote biomanufacturing in Iowa by making the industry more accessible and engaging to students looking to choose a career path. My team and I established the brand’s voice, designed visual content and created a posting plan tailored to STEM students at the University of Iowa through Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Branding

We crafted a cohesive color palette applied consistently across all content. Designed a clean, professional profile picture and developed a creative, relevant username as well as an engaging bio to enhance brand identity and clearly communicate the account’s purpose and tone.

We created a centralized Linktree embedded across all platforms to seamlessly guide users to additional resources, featured content, and external links. We also utilized Instagram story highlights to strategically organize key information, featuring educational resources, biomanufactured products, and emerging innovations in the field.
